Meet, Dine & Connect with fellow evaluators!

In 1984, Lee Cronbach and associates wrote that the sine qua non for improving the evaluation enterprise was building a stronger evaluation profession.  The advice about the evaluation enterprise's central ingredient is just as relevant today as it was more than 30 years ago.

Join us in January 2017 as we launch the Sine Qua Non Dinner Series, which aims to contribute to building a stronger evaluation profession as envisioned by Cronbach, by connecting evaluators to their colleagues in their own neighborhoods.  The first dinner will be hosted by 2017 WE President Nick Hart on Capitol Hill.

During the members-only potluck-style dinner, participants will have the opportunity to meet fellow evaluators (and neighbors!), discuss the state of the profession, and offer suggestions for improving the larger WE community and the profession.  The host will provide provocative questions about the field and practice of evaluation to motivate a lively discussion.

Participants are invited to bring a dish for the pot-luck style event.  Priority for participation will be given to individuals who live in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
